Mrs. Wollenweber’s Class is on a mission!!!

We will create our own mission statement the first week of school.  This mission statement can always be revised throughout the year in order to meet our unique needs!

2007 Mission Statement:

The mission of Mrs. Wollenweber's class is to get a good education (grow dendrites) in a hard-working, caring environment. We will be responsible, try OUR best, cooperate, and respect one another.  We want to have fun and work together!

Prospect Mill's PLEDGE

As students at Prospect Mill Elementary School,

I promise to make good choices every day.

I will show respect for myself and others.

I will be responsible for all the tasks I am expected to complete.

I will put forth my best effort and take pride in all that I do.

At Prospect Mill I am somebody special!

UNITY

I dreamt I stood in a studio
And watched two sculptors there.
The clay they used was a young child's mind
And they fashioned it with care.

One was a teacher-- the tools she used
Were books, music and art.
The other, a parent, worked with a guiding hand,
And a gentle loving heart.
Day after day, the teacher toiled with touch
That was deft and sure.
While the parent labored by her side
And polished and smoothed it o'r.
And when at last, their task was done
They were proud of what they had wrought.
For the things they had molded into the child
Could neither be sold nor bought.
And each agreed they would have failed
If each had worked alone.
For behind the parent stood the school
And behind the teacher stood the home.
